First Day of School

Wow! I just dropped my baby off for her first day of kindergarten. Don't get me wrong...I'm not sad. I did have a few moments when we first got to the school where my eyes were a little teary just because they're growing up so fast. The thought did cross my mind that the short period where they want to spend time with mommy and daddy will end before I know it. Overall, I think I have this overwhelming feeling of happiness. For one thing, her and bubby had used up all their patience for each other over the summer and were driving one another crazy. Second, I have about six hours to myself today. What will I do with the time?

  1. Oh I know the feeling! I'm still going to have kids at home with me though. I am having a hard time this year b/c I have one going to pre-school for the first time this year, one in Kindergarten and one in 4th, which makes me feel so old all of a sudden! Why does 4th seem so different from 3rd? I think the blog is looking really good by the way! I hope you are able to get a nap in today. :)

  2. You know, as I'm looking back at this photo I have to comment about your house in the background. I didn't really pay much attention the first time I saw it (was really just looking at your cute kids) but this time I noticed and had to say it looks so nice! We have a very VERY old brick home. I love your brick and your shutters are awesome! :)
