This weather is incapacitating to me...I think I could just hibernate. Yesterday, after my shower, I put a clean pair of flannel PJs on and stayed in them all day. Several of my friends on Facebook have been mentioning the snow and how they are looking forward to it. I'd be happy to never see snow again. That's not true...I'd be okay seeing it...I just don't need to experience it. Driving in the snow and ice at 5:30 in the morning so I can get to work on time is not my idea of fun!
Trying hard to "bloom" but it's hard when it's gray, rainy, and 30 degrees. How am I going to get through this winter? Here's where I pause and realize that it's still fall...more than 4 weeks away from actual winter. Here's where I also see that it's 79 degrees in that awful place we left last year. Here's where I question my sanity for leaving. Here's where I need to LET IT GO!
Contentment...where or where can it be?
I am not looking forward to the snow and ice either. I could just skip winter all together. There are day's I get up, shower and put on clean PJ's too.

ReplyDeleteI love the snow! It hardly ever snows here, which makes me sad. Booooo....But, I love cold, cloudy days. They are my favorite! So warm and cozy! I'm jealous that you have those flannel pj's! I need to get some of those!
