I usually try to post recipes on Tuesdays but this is sooo yummy, I don't want it to be too late!I always use Libby's Pumpkin, however, I don't follow the recipe exact. This is how hubby's grandma made her pies and they were the absolute BEST!!
2 unbaked pie crusts (No, I don't make my was a flop!)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
I leave out the cloves!
1/2 cup brown sugar (the recipe doesn't call for this)
3 eggs (the recipe calls for two)
1 1/2 cups (12oz can) Evaporated milk
Then follow the directions on the can!
Believe won't regret it if you follow this recipe.
Now, I have some pumpkin pie to go eat...and Oh My Goodness...there's egg nog too! We'll worry about our weight later!
